I, Coriander is a book which is based in the 17th century. Coriander is a little girl who lived with her mother (a magical fairy). She thinks that everything in the world is sweet and splendid, and that everything will go her way, until her mother dies. Her life is suddenly turned upside down, and her world revolves around sadness and despair. Magical fairies and castles step in and change her life along with mysteries and wishes. The only thing that is left is hope.
Read all about how Coriander embarks on a great adventure bringing back everything she loves. And how the two worlds she lives in unite as one. Will she get back the things which are most important to her?
Read all about Coriander’s life-changing story and find out more about old London history during the English Civil War and the reign of Oliver Cromwell. This is a splendid tale full of splendid twists. I got hooked on it from the first sentence to the last. This is a must read. Gripping, exciting and and mind-bogglingly marvellous, I would definitely recommend this book.

That's a bit of a twist (happy life to mother dying and pain).
Ouch.
But it looks like a good book, I might read it.
