Imagine your’e the only boy amongst a town of men. Imagine a world of no secrets or privacy, a world in which you consume in others thoughts; good or bad. A world of NOISE…..
Todd Hewitt is 12 years and 12 months, and a month away from being a man. But his town is keeping secrets and even the loudest and nastiest secrets find a way of being kept to themselves forcing Todd to run for his life …    But then his life changes forever, flips upside down. Viola, Spackle, the Mayor of Prentisstown… Entangled in the biggest knot you’ve seen, Todd needs to survive, as his life is key to New World’s civilisation. But it’s not as easy as it sounds. And there is a lot of sound, trust me.
Will Todd make it to Haven, or even survive his journey ? Find out in this thriller of a book filled with intriguing characters, a well - constructed plot and an overall wonderful read. I suggest this book to lovers of action and adventure and new experiences. This book is for children aged 11-13, a great YA novel which I strongly recommend you Pageflicker fans read.
